  • 1 kg tilapia, each sliced into 4
  • 1 Tbsp liquid seasoning
  • 2 tsp calamansi juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 2 pcs egg, beaten
  • 2 stalks green onions, sliced


1. Sprinkle fish with liquid seasoning, calamansi juice, salt, and pepper.  

2. Sauté onions in margarine for 5 minutes.  Add fish slices with marinade and DEL MONTE Sliced Pineapple with syrup.  Simmer for 3 minutes.  

3. Spread eggs on top, do not stir. Cover and simmer for another 8 minutes. Add green onions if desired.

This recipe is a source of vitamins A and B1. Vitamin A helps resist infections and promotes healthy skin while vitamin B1 supports normal growth.

Chef's Tip

Check if your eggs are fresh by placing them in a glass of water. If the egg sinks to the botton and lay flat on their sides they are fresh. If the eggs float, discard.
